    hi there,

Deciding on a wireless ISP for broadband really depends on what your needs are. Do you wish to:

    1. Surf websites, check email, book tickets, AKA light use

    2. All of the above plus video webisites like youtube, AKA medium use

    3. All of the above plus IM such as Skype or downloading (legal of course ;-)) AKA more than medium use and leaning to heavy use.

Mobile broadband such as an o2 dongle is ideal for option 1 and will work to an extent with option 2. Mobile BB has the advantage of course of being mobile with a laptop or if you move house with a tower PC. Option 3... well you can forget it.

I have had very good experience with Irish Broadband Breeze 3Mb. BUT, everyone has good and bad views about IBB and their fixed wireless. It was useless starting off, but got better. Ripwave is a disaster in certain areas of the country.

Seeing as you asked about wireless, i take it you are in an area where either phoneline ADSL or cable is not available?
