    What other types of fillings are there other than mercury fillings and are any of them harmless to your health? I have 2 mercury fillings and just wondering is it possible to get these out for a non harmful filling? I'm curious about the health effects of these because recently i broke a cap on my front tooth and got a replacement but with the new one my mouth has been feeling like crap and my lips are always dry from it, it feels a lot heavier than the previously filling but im getting a crown soon. Also is it possible for the dentist not to use flouride when they are treating me? thanks
