Dogs outside during winter

I done a search but couldnt find a thread on this so here goes ... Now that the winter is setting in im wondering about the dogs sleeping outside for winter. I have 2 strays taken in they have a lovely wooden kennel thats not too big but they have loads of room to move around in it. Its raised up off the ground and water…

That's our dog, She is brought in most nights around 11/12, she normally stays in her hut until then, yesterday evening we forgot to bring in the dog bed and when we went to get her she was lying in it in the rain. She perfers to be out in the evening as when we do bring her in she will only lie for about a 1/2hr before she start pacing to get out again.
