Seeing as I've no TV or consoles atm, I generally stick to PC.

Ashamed to say it, but I'm a World of Warcraft head. *waits for stoning*

But if you don't feel like selling your soul just yet, a good FPS is nice for late night gaming. I'm passing the time right now with "Left 4 Dead". BF 2142 and CoD are also good ones to check out.

Anything involving mindless grinding. Not because I particularly like mindless grinding, I just find it difficult to call a halt to it after I start :pac:

I'm the same. "Just one more level and then I'll go to bed".

Same here. "Just one more level, one more quest, one more kill..." = kirby up all night.

    Age of Mythology

Also been playing this one as of late. Re-installed it there a few weeks back when my net was down and it's great crack when playing LAN games with housemates. That said, Age of Empires II is still better.

    Aw Medieval rawks.

And I will never ever play a game that involves grinding again.

Heh, same here, just reinstalled it a few days ago.

I have to say I prefer AoM to AoE II, but maybe that's just because of all the cool gods and whatnot. I have a bit of a fascination with mythology you see.

And how can you not like a game where you can have armies of GIANTS!

Yeah tbh AoE III was really underwhelming. Great idea but needed a lot more work.

Oh Empire is gonna take my life, say "f*** you" to my gf, and drive north like the wind.

In other words, I really can't wait.

Think I'm most looking forward to Dawn of War II. Spent way too long playing the first one :) Might see about getting the beta this weekend actually...

    Hah that game...
I had to uninstall it this time last year as I feared I would fail my LC.

I never did uninstall it, and I'm still alive (didn't fail).

Actually I've been meaning to buy Soulstorm, is it any good?

And the Irish are going to be hidden in it. But we're there. :)

It's like a mixture of heroin, crack, caffeine, nicotine and chocolate in terms of addictiveness. Far too easy to get way too sucked in. Be glad you only played for 2 months!
