It's for adjusting the pump pressure. (pump to pump fuel to the nozzle / jet)

So i shouldnt have touched it then? I thought it was the bleed crew and turned it about 3 turns and when it wasnt doing anything i turned it back. I got the burner going by using the reset button a few times and its working away now.

Have i done any damage by moving this screw?

You can use the nut below it to bleed the burner in future.

Most probably not have touched it or most probably not have done any damage?

Whats the likely outcome if the pressue is out, burn more oil? Less oil, less efficient or hopefully nothing at all.

Less efficient and can create a lot of soot if the fuel isn't burning properly creating further inefficiency. In extreme cases burner won't light at all.
