Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Accidental RAID migration

Came home yesterday only to find someone had accidently done a RAID migration on my PC

My PC has two 320GB drives but now only displays one, the main C: drive. I pulled out the second drive and hooked it up to another PC but I still could not access the drive. Is there anyway I can get the data off it that I have stored on it as I really don't want to lose it.

whats way were the 2 disks configured ? RAID 1? or stripped ?

If its Raid 1 = you have lost noting as the 2 and is only a mirror image of the 1st

If it was stripped you should have lost all,

Seen a program called "GetDataBack" on the net from here: http://www.runtime.org/data-recovery-software.htm

wonder if it would be worth getting and trying

I used that on a damaged disk (inaccessible in Windows). Was a bit clumsy but it worked.

I got GetDataBack and it's just finished scanning, it's found my data but it's all over the place. Pictures I have (1000's +), only a handful will display.

Anyone know if it is possible to get another piece of software that can rebuild data ?
