Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ok having a little problem lately, hopefully i can get a few ideas as to why this might be happening.

So i finally bought some speakers for my desktop recently this is them http://www.argos.ie/static/Product/partNumber/6750017/c_1/1|category_root|Office,+PCs+and+phones|10391721/c_2/2|cat_10391721|PC+speakers|10391852.htm and since then this is where the little problem has started to occur.

I have the two speakers positioned underneath my monitor and the subwoofer is positioned behind it. So bascially about 5/6 times my desktop crashes out to the Blue Screen of death, but boots back up no problem. When i check the error message it says there was a problem with Vista.

There is a strange little hum that i have never heard before coming off my monitor at times. Would these speakers be causing the problem???

Ive scanned my computer for virus/spyware i am very vigilant when it comes to stuff like that and no problems that side. I put up a thread before http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055364364&highlight=graphics any input much appreciated.

Next time it happens check the error and post it here. Look at the details of it, there should be a link to 2 files on your PC. Zip these and upload them (they're small anyway) on your next post here and we'll have a look. It's the dump file we need.

I doubt the speakers and/or monitor are blue screening your PC tbh

I can't see how the speakers would be making your computer crash, but it might be possible I guess. I have seen the magnet in a speaker discolor a monitor before...

Likely it is something else, but you could always try unplugging and removing the speakers and see if it still crashes. Also, did the speakers come with any software that you installed?

Looking through the error messages there does seem to be alot of video hardware error messages showing up.

I hope these are the files that you require?
