Iverson to Detroit for Billups and McDyess. A few points I took out of this

    1. Denver is a directionless franchise.

What exactly are they trying to accomplish by dumping Marcus Camby's contract for a 2nd rounder and then trading for Chauncey Billups' long term deal?

Yes, they're better this season by trading for a real point guard, but they're still a 7th or 8th seed at best, and have no long term plan

    2. Pistons just saved 30 million trading a declining Billups for Iverson because when Iverson and Rasheed Wallace's deal expire this offseason the Pistons will be huge players in the free agency market.

Boston win by a point in the last second to break the Hawks unbeaten run. Celtics top of the Eastern Conference with 8 and 1.

I bet that was the only night of the season where both the Lakers & Celtics lose at home on the same night.

    Sam Mitchell got fired

No surprises here. He went to Toronto as a young coach with a hard stance on players, a no-nonsense kind of approach... but just lacks the X's and O's. He's just clueless at times
