Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Gears of War 2 pre-order

    Has anyone pre-ordered this yet? Are there any websites that are doing a good deal on it and will have it delivered on the day of release or should I just pre-order it from my local Gamestop?

    gamesnash.ie will have it at your door on release day. They did with all their GTA 4 re-orders. I'd order from them if you don't want to be queing in shops.

    Sometimes though gamestop do extras with big release pre orders like they did with Halo 3 and GTA 4.

    Cheers mate, I'll ring Gamestop and see if they are doing any pre order offers and if not I'll get it from here, have you used them much?

    Gamestop have a poster up saying we like this game if you pre book it and then dont like the game bring it back for a full refund ( in credit form ) within a week. Im sure they have some weird term and cond. that apply

    That's very clever of Gamestop, basically they're looking for people to buy this game full price of about €60 and then return it so they can sell it again preowned for probably €50 which would be all profit. I really hate trading in my games at gamestop, I always feel like I'm getting robbed.

    Why continue doing something you don't like doing? edit-- gamesnash actually accept trades in too so worth emailing them.

    I'd recommend gamesnash.ie. I've gotten a few games from them and never once had problems. There is a thread on our site for them and their dealings. I don't think anyone has had negative dealings with them yet but feel free to check out the thread:

    Yeah I will, I'm sick of getting €10 for a game I paid €60 for only a few months ago! I'll never trade in a game at gamestop again!!
