Diabetes Clinics in Dublin

    Hi everyone,

I'm a country chap with IDDM, and I'm now living in Dublin for pretty much the foreseeable future. I asked today at my provincial clinic about being transferred to a Dublin clinic for convenience making and attending appointments, getting bloods done, etc. This is no problem, it seems. I said I live in the south city centre, so (in terms of proximity) the choice was between the Mater, St James's and St Vincent's. I said I didn't have a preference and asked which my doctor would recommend. He said St Vincent's (he said the consultants there are good), so I went with that. Does anyone here attend that clinic and have anything to say about it? Alternatively, do you have any strong recommendations or qualifications for any of the other Dublin clinics?

    Thanks,

    europerson :)
