Work permit/visa for NZ

    Has anyone had any experience obtaining an offer of employment from a NZ employer in order to be considered for a work permit/visa?

    I've worked in New Zealand previously under a Skilled Migrant Residence Permit for a reputable government employer. The problem is I had to return home to Ireland unexpectedly, and I don't expect to be able to return to NZ before my Returning Residents Visa expires next year.

    The work permit option is probably my last resort at this point.
