    Just checked offical mins
    Air min -3.9C
    Grass min -10.9C :eek::eek::eek:
    Well below previous night which were both Nov records.

    The grass min ranks 5th in my overall records and air min 10th.

    -3.5C atm, sun is rising but a little cloud about which could mean a slow rise in temp this morning.

    EDIT a bit more on the grass, min. The only month I've recorded lower is Feb. Dec record is -10.3C and Jan -9.6C and the air min would rank 2nd in both those months.

    Is there much fog in Dublin? I see in Howth that its pretty bleak and both airports are reporting fog. Could be an ice day there if that hangs around. Glorious here in Wicklow though.

    Slow rise in temperature today despite the blazing sunshine, eveything very white in the shade still. Currently 2.5°C, god knows how low its going to be tonight.
    Yesterday went subzero shortly after 16:50..wouldnt be in the slightest bit surprised to shave 15 mins off that, tracking about 2°C below similar time yesterday.
