Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Titus Bramble scores from the spot accordin to fivelive

    Wigan 1 up

    guardian
3.47pm: Portsmouth 0-1 Wigan (Zaki 45pen) Papa Bouba Diop gives away another stupid penalty, tripping over Titus Bramble just as Bramble was about to lump the ball out of the ground. Amr Zaki whacks it straight down the middle for his ninth of the season.

Congrats to Emile Heskey on joining the 100 goals club.

So Arsenal get 2 pts from a possible 15 against Hull, Stoke, Sunderland, Tottenham and Fulham, and they've still yet to meet Man United, Chelsea or Liverpool.

Surely season over for them now.

Hull are really impressing me this season...

Oh, and congrats to Keith Andrews on scoring an Blackburns equaliser... i used to play ball with him :)

Didn't you get the memo a few years back that Heskey is absolutrely sh/t, and any praise for him should be laughed at.

How? Still the cl/fa cup/carling cup. We are only 6 points behind Chelsea not 16, yes we need to improve and fast but season is certainly not over.

Should be a good game. Expecting a fairly comfortable City win. Fairly close for the first half I'd say.

Watching this on Sky Sports and this is a fairly interesting piece of useless trivia.

City have used 16 different defensive combinations in their starting 11 so far in 18 games in all competitions.

Sparky the eh Rotator eh? Hughes has been getting away with a lot given the quality of the squad.

EDIT: Some tackle again out of Ireland

Cheering on City today, as anything or then a City win means Newcastle hit rock bottom of the table. :(

    Well in Dunnie

What is wrong with City's away form this year?

Ireland seems to be the only one playing well...

Great goal from Bolton - good sweeping attack following a Robinho mistake in the middle of the park.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,570 ✭✭✭✭Frisbee

    Ricardo Gardner. What a man.
As soon as Robinho lost it I knew it was going to be a goal because it's the kind of thing Jamie Redknapp/Andy Gray will put down as the cause of the goal in the Studio later...

Was marginally offside I thought. But as Andy Gray pointed out on the replay (loathe as I am to give that moron credit for something), the position of the assistant referee made it very difficult for him to see it as such.

    From a City fan -
Only this club could fuck up being the richest in the world

    So true.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

Was a mile onside looking at it again.

    ---

I don't understand what City fans want. There is no instant success, nobody ever has gotten that, even Chelsea.

What the **** was Dunne doing that? That is shocking
