rusting water???

hi, not sure if this is the correct place to put this so mods move it if needs be. basically i'm after moving into a brand new house and have noticed that the metal plugs in the sink and some of the cutlery from the dishwasher have started to rust a small bit. is there some way i can check if its the water or something…

hi,
