Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

    I'm so pissed off, and so shaken. I walked out to get my bike tonight after work (parked right out side Penny's on O'Connell St.) to find both my mirrors stolen! :(:(:(:(
    There was no way I could leave the bike in town over the weekend so I had to drive it home - extremely stupid yes. My nerves are in bits, I'm glad it was slow moving traffic all the way home.

    Now I need to replace them, I've looked on ebay and found originals for my model from two different sellers. However, I can't afford to wait around for them to come, I need the bike immediately. Is there any other way I can get them? It's for a Suzuki GZ250.

    Try phoning Priory motorcycles (they're the Suzuki importers and may do spares), 01 836 4567

    I visited them 2 years ago (to look over a new GZ250 as it happens) when they were based in N. C. Rd., and they had a parts counter.

    Sorry to hear about the vandalism, just so ...... (expletive not printed!!) childish!

    I'll give those guys a ring. No chance they'll be open tomorrow or Monday? I really need the bike tuesday to get down to the southside, but most bike shops are closed on a sunday and monday.

    Is there any way of preventing something like that happening again? Other than leaving the bike at home :P

    sadly not. just make sure their on tight (sometimes you need a spanner to take them off, tohertimes you can unwind them).

    Alternatively, pay someone to sit on teh bike wielding a hurley....

    It would almost be worth it - instead of sitting on it though, they could stand across the road and wait for a vandal to come before striking. Guaranteed scumbag destruction right there.

    I'd be very wary of doing something like that - one of the mirrors might break, and then I'd be fooked trying to replace it at all.

    Thanks for the suggestions guys.

    yeah thats the only downside but a big spanner should take it off

    I would like to thank CourierCollie who sent me a PM this morning offering me a spare aftermarket mirror he had. He dropped it up a few hours later. It fits the bike perfectly, and will do as a right mirror until I can source the originals.

    Thanks again mate! I really really appreciate it!
