Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Boot DOS from Boot.ini

Is it possible to have DOS on the NTLDR Boot.ini operating system list, without having to give DOS its own partition? I'd like to have the DOS system files contained simply in a subdirectory on the C:\ drive.

DOS will only boot up from a FAT16 volume of 2GB or less.

NTFS or FAT32 aren't recognised by DOS, (nor are 4GB FAT16 ones)

retro fitting DOS on to a FAT16 volume that has NT / 2K on it is messy
you have to SYS C: and then then start a reinstal of windows to a temp folder and then edit the boot.ini OR use utilis to fix , either way it's messy #

XP/Vista - they default to NTFS and 2GB is way too small
