Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Just a heads up for those not in the beta program. You can now download the update (I'm not sure if it's ok to post a link so I wont - your google powers will have to do).

    I've updated mine but since I'm not in the beta program I can't sign into live. There is no avatar functionality either. I really don't know if this will result in a perma-ban from xbox live so use it at your own risk!!

    You won't be banned. The email sent out by microsoft for the people in the beta program said that if you update a console that hasn't been registered to be part of the beta you'd loose the xbox live functionality until the official NXE release.

    I'm not a big user of live so I said I'd give it a shot, if I did use it more I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. Thought there might be a few people who were in the same boat.

    The install to hard drive feature is what called me to it. Testing it with fallout 3 now and it does seem to be a bit snappier on loading.

    Do NOT install this leaked NXE.

    Please bare in mind that the e-mail sent out to Preview participants were only talking about the chosen previewers and their friends if they should accidentally get the update of the friend's HDD.

    By installing this leak, you are breaking the ToU and you run a very high risk of getting your console banned. Major Nelson has warned of this

    Major Nelson says that anyone not on the beta program will be blocked from Live until the 19th. No mention of getting the console banned. Lets not be over-dramatic here.

    Having said that, whats to stop Microsoft coming out with a statement during the week to say that anyone who has it installed will be banned?

    I wouldn't take the risk....
