A friend of mine has a 2001 Nissan Micra automatic with only 40k miles and is having major problems with it, it seem to develop a misfire when it warms up and runs like sh*ite. It starts fine from cold and drives fine for a while but every now and then it acts up. I'm sure it's only a small problem but it's very annoying.…

A friend of mine has a 2001 Nissan Micra automatic with only 40k miles and is having major problems with it, it seem to develop a misfire when it warms up and runs like sh*ite. It starts fine from cold and drives fine for a while but every now and then it acts up. I'm sure it's only a small problem but it's very annoying. The airflow metre was changed last week and set up by the main dealer and made no odds, someone else suggested the temperature sensor but haven't tried this yet. All suggestions considered, thanks in advance.
