    Hi guys,

I'm unable to post with my account brianb8802. Every time I try to post I get the following error.
    1. The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 1 characters.

I've tried creating new threads, replying to other ones, private messages, editing old messages, logging out, and even leaving messages on peoples user pages but the same error comes up.

The only way I could get a message through was through quick reply.

Just wondering can anybody shine some light on whats going on?

This happens if you try to post just a link or an image or an attachment without adding any other text.

Maybe a problem with your browser then.

Can you switch to the basic editor interface and try it then:

Go here: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/profile.php?do=editoptions scroll to the bottom and change the "Message Editor Interface" to the basic editor and save the changes.

    Then try post again.

You managed to start this thread which indicates to me that it's a problem with your computer.

Can you give details on that - Operating System, Browser, etc?

That seemed to work. I changed it to basic and was able to post, then changed back to advanced and it still works.

Only thing is that when i came into this thread to post i got this message
Brianb8802, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
    1. You may be trying to post in a restricted forum such as Soccer, or one of the many private forums on boards.ie.
For clarification, check our Help Desk forum.
    2. You may be banned from this forum if you contravened an element of the forum charter.
    3. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
    4. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Is it got to do with IP address or something?
