OK, this is either going to be a great or sh1te 1000th post.:D

That's the longest I've ever watched CBS without an ad break ffs.

Fox has predicted my old stomping ground Virginia (13) for Obama, that will be the first Dem victory there in 40 years. The NOVA counties are still counting, and they'd be traditionally be more Democratic

Florida is at 81% precincts reporting: CNN, RTÉ say it's 51/48 Obama. Iowa and Illinoise reporting with big leads for Obama.

Obama 207 McCain 141 at the moment.

    Must . . . get . . . in . . . before . . . 4am.

See you all at 4.30am after the speeches!

    West Coast polls close now!

They've got the Senate, the White House and it's looking like the House of Reps as well.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

    Some scenes in Chicago.

Juan Williams on Fox was almost moved to tears.

Fair play to McCain - very gracious.

Have to stay up to hear the man himself now.

    Well done Obama!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,523 ✭✭✭machalla

You know Mc Cains speech makes you realise hes with the wrong party, hes given a speech to try and heal the divide. You listen to these Republicans booing at the mention of Obamas name. What dreadful people..

Very good speech by John McCain - there are muppets in every mob, but that was a top concession speech for me. Well done McCain.
