Of possible interest to people here, suffering from Crohn's, Colitis or IBS:

    31st October 2008

    Dear IBD sufferer,

The ISCC (in association with Abbott Laboratories) is sponsoring a programme under which IBD patients in the 18-30 age group will be brought together by an independent research company (Forum) with a view to drawing up a "Manifesto for Young People with IBD".

Details of the programme are set out in the "Invitation to Participate".

If you are a patient with either Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis in the age group specified and wish to be involved in the programme, please give your details (name, age, address etc), as requested in the invitation, to Forum Research at the postal address or email address shown.

Alternatively, if you know of a relative, neighbour or friend who has Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis, is in the 18-30 age group and might be interested in participating, please give them the enclosed invitation.

As with attendance at our public meetings throughout the country, participation in this project is not confined to ISCC members - all are welcome to sign up.

    Yours sincerely

    Billy Power

    Chairman

The Irish Society for Colitis and Crohn's Disease
