Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The mods dont read LOI threads, do they? They are too busy policing discussions on David Beckhams new hairstyle among the plastics.

One of the below is true.

    a. the mods don't care about LoI threads (we don't seem to have an LoI mod, even though the Liverpool and United users were pandered to with the appointment of recent mods)

    b. the mods don't think the reported posts need any action

    c. the mods aren't around in the AM and haven't had the time to respond yet (which is an absolute disgrace, imo, and has long been an issue with this forum)

I don't want to be the soccer mod.

    I've said a thousand times.

    Not worth the hassle.

What I do want is fairness in moderation.

If the Liverpool and United fans can scream and get a Liverpool/United mod then the LoI users need a LoI mod, because the current batch of mods aren't taking the trolling that goes on seriously enough.

And if anyone offends the precious little EPL fans, the ban stick is whipped out, as it was last night, yet this thread has been trolled for a couple of days now, and nobody is taking any notice.

Well if it's trolliing it's pretty pathetic trolling.
I don't see anything that would warrant a ban: if people are being hit for similar discussion in British team threads, that just points up the insecurity of those groups and their mods.

The most ridiculous thing of all was that B game.

They played a side much poorer than Bohs or Pats and they included no LOI players. Its mind boggling.

Ireland will finish 1st or 2nd because the group their in is easy but the LOI players like Murphy are certianly better than some players in the squad and better than most in the B squad.

You wanted to disrupt LoI players at that stage of the season?

    Nice.

Well they beat Cyprus with a last minute goal and scraped a draw against Bulgaria so they are not that bad.

BTW 2nd place means that Italy can finish top but Ireland will challange Italy with the style of play Trap plays.

You obviously have no clue about football if you think that the best team wins everything. The team with a draw that suits and superior tactics has a huge advantage.

Bulgaria and Cyprus are poor at best and Bulgaria's style suits Ireland.
