Using 3 broadband in Dudalk and it is desperate, slower than dial up and it cuts out a lot. It is shockingly bad

Yes constant problems with my BT 2mbit DSL since they "upgraded" it and pushed the speed up to 3mbit.
Big thread over in the Broadband forum about it.
BT say to some that they are aware of problems and to others that there aren't any problems...some times it's like they've fixed it, but then it dies again. Lot of disconnects and time outs on webpages. 50 quid a month for it, that's the laughable part...

In the country - Faughart and on Eircom was a bit iffy until I stuck the modem into the primary phone jack.

It seems pathetic that different phone points within the house give different results but genuinely since moving it all of a few metres to the primary no issues he says touching wood and all that!:D

Try different jacks in the house and see if it makes a difference.

You're recommended to put it in the primary one, as all others are spliced off it.
