Call of Duty multiplayer beta on marketplace

As thread suggests the cod5 multiplayer beta has found its way to marketplace not sure if its just for gold users i would assume it is, but my download is goin fairly fast so think its only gone up recently 47% and counting

Did you play it yet? Its worth a try anyway I like it, only I would like it more if it didnt 110% copy cod4 mulitplayer. Its going to be single player & co-op for me.

i fail to see the point of coming into a thread you clearly know is about cod5 (which you seem to have no interest in and thats fair enough) just to let people know your not interested in it. post count maybe i don't know.

I just dont see what Ive seen and played of it so far has added to the series. Its not going to tear me away from COD4

Pretty good game from what i've seen. What's really annoying is i seem to die getting shot with one bullet a lot, but it takes at least ten to kill someone else! anybody else noticed this?

Graphics are not that impressive but they could be improved in the final version

Haha welcome to playing on the xbox, i put it down to lag usually.

Does nayone know if there is a time limit on this beta ?

They must be struggling to keep people playing this beta i got 3 codes !! i have never got a code before or since and now they are just putting it on open release.

I played it for 2 nights then gave up it just didnt have the same appeal for me but im kind of burnt out from FPS i dont play COD4 any more and didnt like far cry 2.

The co-op looks interesting but since my copy of resistance 2 and gears 2 will be here before COD5 is out i think ill give it a miss.

So the level carries over to the full game ? cause i dont want to waste my time leveling up only to have to do it again in the full game.

No its down to the players your against being better than you normally. Head shots my son, head shots. Plus Perks, and ranking give you better weapons, and armor.

Only the odd 360 lags. Most I never have an issue with. Get a better upload speed or make sure you've nothing else connected to your Broadband to stop lagging.

na if its a case of me and someone else shooting at each other the replays always show me looking at them while there shooting at me and in my game i shot at them first then die real qucik. Dosnt happen all the time but defo enough to be noticed, friends on live say the same happens. Ill be first to admit im not great at online gaming anyway just not THAT bad either haha.

Loved cod4 etc..played it to death and for this reason i dont like the new cod that much...seems like more of the same with the same boring weapons from ww2..yawn..Secondly is it just me or does anyone else not like the default scopes on the rifle,heavy and medium assault weapons.....Im gonna give this a skip or at least wait till its cheap...gow2 ftw and maybe left 4 dead if it has the multiplayer legs..

Not surpirsed their 'giving it away' on market place now I'd say a good few players who got in early with a code have lost interest now like myself.

Not gonna buy it anyway as it's not a patch on COD4 for MP anyway.

I played this last night and I'm not impressed. It's not even as much fun as CoD3 and it as the same matchmaking issues (lag, getting randomly booted off – this could get a fix after release). The weapons don't feel right(some feel like your firing paintball guns) . The addition of attack dogs is poorly implemented. The 3 maps I played were all somewhere between average and boring.

i cannot for the life of me find this on marketplace, i definately must be blind, is there anty way of searching for it? i sent through all games demos and cod3 is there but no sign of anything else. i have gold membership too but dont think that makes any difference!

go to market place. then games then new demo's . Easy to find harder not to find. lol

Marmite response. Hate them when they're all biting and killing me and stuff, but what is excellent is when you or your team release them.
There's points popping up on the board the whole time, and you just follow the dogs for easy kills.

the demo is finishing today, they've done all their testing, with release on friday no need for the beta anymore so not much point in downloading, if even available anymore
