I'm flicking between about 5 channels.
Why did RTE even bother to show something ,waste of money.Leave it to the pros.

too true. i switched off after about 5 minutes.

The map on RTEs website seems to be updated allot quicker than CNNs.

Who is that weirdo on RTE now ?

Tg4 wins worst coverage with France 24. I don't think they've a clue whats going on.

    CNN is deffo the best.

    Slick as hell.

I'm loving Fox News tbh. Numbers flying across the screen, some fancy gizmos but nothing on the scale of CNN, which to me is good thing. :)

RTÉ's coverage, as usual, is dreadful. Really is.

Personally, I am watching Al Jazeera English. Absolutely superb.
Honest, factual, comprehensive. No bias, with lots of discussion, debate and accurate, up to date results.

Mary Robinson was on the programme earlier giving her piece!

I was to watch BBC and Sky, but AJE is far better.
    Truly excellent.

Watch it via online TV @ www.livestation.com.

Strange, because normally I like their work.

Me too, their UK General Election coverage is usually top notch. Dimbleby looks like he doesn't want to be there and the whole thing is just chaotic.

And its not as if they were up for McCain; saw he was losing, and then just haven't bothered putting anymore input in!

Aye, they are usually much better than that.
    Went back to Sky.

I've enjoyed Sky tonight too tbh

Comedy central ftw! Ads every 3mins are kinda annoying though.

I really should have tried Sky!
I've been Al Jazeera-ing it for hours.

I'm loving Fox, I know I've said it before but I have to say it again. Showing a Democrat making a speech and the anchor then talking about America soon becoming the land of milk and honey :P

Loving MSNBCs coverage opens in a very slick flash player

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/ scroll down to near the end and the live feed link is under video

TG4 have always re-transmitted France 24 not just tonight that along with Russia Today is woeful oh and if ya want a laugh take a gander at Press TV so biased it's not even funny!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 70 ✭✭DavidLive

    Ha!

Fox is suspiciously "unavailable" on this internet program. Live feeds are down. Suspicious!

BBC is fine, I can't install software in work so it's the best I can do, also Christpher Hitchens is in the studio so that's got to be worth at least 50 points.

Oh my god did anyone just see Will.I.Am on CNN?!?

    He was a freakin hologram!!

    The BBC coverage is dire!

First, who is the fool who keeps looking over his glasses like a lost owl running the show? He keeps laying into republicans and encouraging democrat commentators to rant.

The reporters in the US are worse, did you see the guy interviewing a farmer in Virginia, asking him why he was still voting for McCain when Obama has such a huge lead. wtf?!! And the guy in New York who didn't allow his interviewee to finish answering ANY of his questions.

Al Jazeera gave way more balanced coverage, I watched BBC as a lesson on bias journalism, and Fox for lols. CNN looked pretty good too, they were loving that hologram!

I mostly watched sky, flicked around a bit, BBC was good for the Bolton guy though :pac: :pac:

I can't praise Fox News enough. Even as a McCain supporter I was never a fan of them, but they were brilliant tonight. One or two little digs but nothing below the belt. They had Karl Rove on who summed everything up brilliantly, congratulating Obama etc.

I lol'd at Sky News' ads about a "real" view of America with their 4 correspondents in NY, Chicago, Miami and a city in California. Yah, very balanced :P
