    Has anyone made a claim for a tax rebate from New Zealand lately?

    I used taxback.com and somehow, even with my payslips, managed to fubar it.

    If anyone has can you let me know a rough % of how much you got back.

    Are you able to claim tax back? I was working here for 3 months and was under the impression if on a Working Holiday Visa, the 19.5% you pay is non-refundable ie.can't be claimed back? Unless I was misinformed!

    I paid 13,000 in tax in a year in NZ and i only got 560 bucks back! I don't know what way it works there but you get much more back in oz than in NZ

    Yep I paid about about €7000-8000 and got a lousy $500 back. Thought I would get a good bit more back.. Ah well, c'est la vie... :(
