Keep an eye on the NYTimes election maps. It's live and slowly turning blue :D
But of course! That's my colour. When the final electoral college vote is official, it appears well into the 300's, meaning that it was a landslide victory for Obama-Biden. The popular vote will be in the millions too for them, once the final count is in. McCain just conceded about 8:30PM Pacific Standard Time, giving probably his best speech during the campaign.

Edit: Obama to speak before a crowd in Chicago estimated to be over 150,000 by the media. I doubt any presidential acceptance speech has been attended by so many people in the history of the US.

Well, he's talked the talk. After 20 January the US and the world will see if he can walk the walk.

McCain's speech reminded me of what he was like before the Presidential Campaign and what I liked about him as a politician.

My thoughts exactly, came across as extremely genuine and human.

I really think that the manner of his campaign really went against him, even the "wooping and hollering" of the Palin supporters didnt seem to sit well with him.

    Absolutely.

I've already said this, but I find it abhorrent how people like Jon Stewart have spoken about McCain lately.

Karl Rove summed everything up beautifully as well on Fox.

    Delighted, just delighted.

Nice speech from McCain. Anyone hear the booing during McCains speech when he mentioned Palin? I reckon she was a big part of the main reason he lost so badly.

Great speech, i was hooked to the telly. Fair play, slightly skewed by the fact that he didnt write it himself. But what new in speeches or politics.

God help me, when i saw the whole family walking on to the stage i started filling up. Is it wrong to be this emotional and not be an American?

One of the stations showed a big street party outside the railings of The White House a few mins ago. Was there in September. Would really love to be there right now. The atmosphere must be amazing :o
