Yes it will become the land of milk and honey but for who?, Obama plans to legalize 12million illegals thus shoring up the new Democrat dictatorship while the hard working White Majority gets pummelled in taxes to pay for the new Marxist Socialist utopia Mr. Obama plans to create, America will now be more divided than ever before and I firmly believe that the union is now under its greatest pressure since the beginning of the Civil War. America will be glad to come back to the Republicans and they will in droves yet. From one right wing moderate to a left wing black Islamic named liberal marxist.... A hollywood producer couldn't have scripted it.

Nov 4th 2008 the day the liberal facisists took over America and it became a single party state.

I pray for the day that democracy returns! God Bless and Protect America as there are dark days ahead on the horizon.

Ah Christ. Seriously, the worst thing about having conservative beliefs is being associated with idiots like you.

McCain co-authored the bill to give those immigrants legal status.

Islamic named? So? Why not go the whole racist hog and call him a ******?

McCain's speech is coming across as extremely genuine and heartfelt, I really feel the guy could have romped home had Obama not been opposing him.

It's either CBS or the McCain campaign that are playing what sounds like "Hunt for Red October" soundtrack, weird.

ROFL they're playing the theme from Crimson Tide at the end of the McCain speech. Damn, beat me to it. I think it's crimson tide & it's the McCain campaign cause it's on BBC news too.

Yeah, I wouldn't really worry about what that poster John Bolton says, look at his track record ffs.

Fine speech by John McCain. Any ideas on when Obama will be making an appearance?

McCain's speech reminded me of what he was like before the Presidential Campaign and what I liked about him as a politician.

I'm happy for McCain. He certainly walked away from the edge and redeemed himself a bit.

Keep an eye on the NYTimes election maps. It's live and slowly turning blue :D
But of course! That's my colour. When the final electoral college vote is official, it appears well into the 300's, meaning that it was a landslide victory for Obama-Biden. The popular vote will be in the millions too for them, once the final count is in. McCain just conceded about 8:30PM Pacific Standard Time, giving probably his best speech during the campaign.

Edit: Obama to speak before a crowd in Chicago estimated to be over 150,000 by the media. I doubt any presidential acceptance speech has been attended by so many people in the history of the US.

Well, he's talked the talk. After 20 January the US and the world will see if he can walk the walk.

My thoughts exactly, came across as extremely genuine and human.

I really think that the manner of his campaign really went against him, even the "wooping and hollering" of the Palin supporters didnt seem to sit well with him.

    Absolutely.

I've already said this, but I find it abhorrent how people like Jon Stewart have spoken about McCain lately.

Karl Rove summed everything up beautifully as well on Fox.

    Delighted, just delighted.

Nice speech from McCain. Anyone hear the booing during McCains speech when he mentioned Palin? I reckon she was a big part of the main reason he lost so badly.

Great speech, i was hooked to the telly. Fair play, slightly skewed by the fact that he didnt write it himself. But what new in speeches or politics.
