No problem! I just edited your post, you are more likely to get people reading the thread if they have a better idea what you are asking from the thread title.

Restaurants are usually buzzing with family and friends catching up - book early , lots of pubs , late bars and clubs open to party on afterwards!

Hotels offer holiday packages and great to avail of the leisure facilities after a day trip to Kenmare or Dingle . Plenty of holiday homes and apartments on offer also .

The retail parks will probably all have their sales started but there's nothing like taking a long walk through the national park by the lakes or
roaming around Muckross House and Gardens . If its raining Torc Waterfall
will be a good photo opportunity..

The inec events centre will host a new years event which has capacity for a few thousand people and is just a mile outside the town - plenty of taxis available!

Have a good one if you decide to go!

There is normally some gig or another on out in the INEC. I have no idea who is there this year, it was Paddy Casey last year though. That's normally about 50 quid ahead.

The place is typically jointed around that time, and you will more than likely pay through the nose to get into any club, only for it to be so packed that you have to wait 15 minutes for your pint. But Killarney is hardly unique in that respect on new years eve. What kind of age are ye, and what kind of thing are ye looking for?
