Where is a good place to meet a few friends after the Ireland v All Blacks game.?
    Maybe something to eat closeby.
    Appreciate any help.

Cross the Liffey and you'll be in business.

Depends on what type of pub you're lookin' for. There are loads of spots in and around Croke Park, but for more "rugby pub" you'd need to, as was said, cross the Liffey. Also depends on how far you're willing to walk.

There's Quinns and The Big Tree near Croker, they'll be jammers though.

There's The Woolshed Baa on Parnell Street (It's an Aussie bar, but they do food) It will also be jammers, but it's also next to an Eddie Rockets ;)

The Porterhouse (Parliament Street) for booze and grub is good.
