access music from computer

Hi,
I have almost 2000 albums in mp3 format on one pc. but i would like to access it in all my rooms without having to move pc everywhere.maybe even playing it from my pc and have the sound all over my house. any thoughts. i dont mind spending a few pound if i thought i could get a good set up.

you can do it all through an airport unit if your running amc i do believe. My moms boyfriedn has the exaxct setup you are describing. Any wireless anbled computer in the house can access the network and play music from the main desktop. And they can set it to play anywhere in the house. I asssume through a wirless adapter plugged into each stereo.

A mate of mine has sonos, it's very nice.
