Gears Of War 2 Midnight Launch Cork

As the title suggests i was wondering does anyone know if any shop in Cork are having a Midnight launch for Gears Of War 2..Any help much appreciated..Im like a child at the mo where i want it now..no waiting...i want it now!

Get it midnight. Finish the game by 10am. Then multiplayer all weekend. Thats the plan for you all this weekend. I'm just waiting till Friday now to go online on multiplayer. Could do it thursday night now. GOW2 multiplayer from midnight tomorrow. A few hours play before the U.S.A knobs get it.

Officially no, its a world wide release on the 7th so we get it a few hours before them, but some shop chain called 7-11 has broken the street over there and have been selling it since Tuesday.

I'll have mine in the morning, and will be playing it all weekend since I can't do anything or go anywhere with this bandjaxed knee I got on Monday.

It seems like a few of them sold early but probably because the staff just didnt have a clue.

does anyone know how much it will cost in game if there is a midnight launch..like if its 60 im willing to wait a few hours and ge it in smyths for like 50ish

Just rang an Xtravision in Cork there and they are doing a midnight launch tonight. It's not just for preorders and they have loads of limited edition copies going for €59.99 and a few standard editions for €49.99. They'll be sold on a first come, first served basis.
I might drive by at 12ish but if there's a big queue, I ain't joining it!

I asked in Game in Mahon point and they said they werent opening tonight and neither is game in town! Does anyone know if game in town is opening or not?

Game in cork city is doing a midnight launch, there's a sign on the window, saying Gears of War 2 midnight launch.
