ooh, ooh, oohh!!! I get to be useful!

"j'arrive pas à t'appeller", in txt/spk or similarly annoying form. Maybe ask them to avoid texting like that in future, if you're comfortable with them or blunt enough, as it can often be hell trying to translate bad french-french before you even start working towards english.

I'm not able to call you, or can't get through, je crois? Something in that direction anyway! Hope that helps.
