Fallout 3 Sound Problem

    Hey guys, dunno if I'm the right forum for this, but my Fallout 3 for the PC has a problem. The sound gets jerky randomly, and my fps goes from over 80 down to its mid 20's. Now i have Far cry 2, dead space, COD4 etc, and i dont have any problems like this.

    It was bearable at 1st, but now i cant stand it!

    All temps in the CPU, GPU, are normal.

    My specs:
    2.83 core 2
    2gb RAM
    512 9800gt
    Asus mobo

    Can anyone help?
