My local exchange is unbundled and DSL is available to my area, however the quality of the line from the 'pole' (or whatever it is) to my actual house won't support it. Since Eircom's only obligation is to supply DSL enabled line up to the pole and no further, when I asked when the line from the pole to my gaff would be upgraded they told me to PFO and that they weren't going to do it any time soon even if I paid for it.
Anyone got any ideas on how to cure this as I'm bollixed using irish broadband and their sh!tty 20kbps at best.

And mobile broadband ain't an option due to their limits.

    TIA
