Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anderson is absolutely terrible. Nothing but an overrated long ball merchant.

Best midfielder in the first half for me.

So now United players are exempt from criticism are they? How is it bitter to say someone who is playing crap is playing crap? That 'bitter' accusation is nothing but
a cop out for fans who can't take criticism.

No, but for you to say he's a terrible player and a glorified long ball merchant despite the face he's having a pretty decent game is pretty irritating.

that's why i make my lunch at half time.

Think anderson has played fine so far its rooney who his having a shocker. A united goal is coming but Im not confident they can get two.

Anderson's been top-class. Along with Park, our best player on the pitch

Yeah, I think he has been one of our better players. I always like when he plays. He gives it everything.

Anyone who thinks Anderson is having a bad game is either clueless about football, or someone who hates Man Utd and can't form objective views

I reckon they are both though

I was waiting for your reply to xavi's post;)

In fairness, I cant honestly say he has had a brilliant half, I dont think any Man Utd player has had a brilliant first half,

i didnt want to disappoint :)

but i couldnt let xavi off with that post against Anderson

best midfielder in the 1st half

how did Ronney miss that chance when Ronaldo crossed the ball

    been very disappointed with Ronney

one thing that never changes VDS is still dodgy as hell

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,677 ✭✭✭Chong

I do think Ronaldo is playing badly today, he has done nothing spectacular and has been quite selfish at times.

People disagreeing with you is irritating? You're in the wrong place so. He has tired numerous speculative passes that have come to nothing. Park has been United's best midfield player by a long way.

To bloody right, his time is really coming to an end, that punch in the first half was shocking!

Ah crap :L just doesnt look as good outside of bebo....

Best first half for entertainment Ive watched in a while. Get Tevez on though to pressure that defence.

Its not the disagreeing thats irritating me, its the completely ridiculous point your fabricating out of a match that Im not sure if you're really watching...

Arsenal need to get the second soon.
Otherwise this game has 2-1 United all over it

    Enjoyable game to watch (grrrrr)

Neville not in the game ,
Arsenal playing well , but Utd look dangerous , Rooney having a off day in front of goal ,
Thank F**k Bendtner is up front :D Missed two great chances.
    Nasri having a cracker,
Think utd can get back into this and even win it (tinted glasses )

Oh Utd should have had a peno

Think Denilson, Diaby and Clichy have been Arsenals best players in that half. Really need to get a second goal fairly sharpish, and even then its not even close to safe. Great game though!

We are not looking exactly the best today.

But seeing Wayne run the lenght of the field on Arse's last attack to get back and defend, that lad has so much heart.

well he ran the length of teh pitch nd fouled walcott quite blatently, i failt to see how that it heart. to me that it petulance, as he lost the ball poorly.
you can call it desire or heart, but its foolish is all

clichy is having a great game, i note how ronaldo has been moved as he is getting nothing out of him, he was up front at the end of the half with rooney out wide.
    diaby doing quite well too.
tevez will be brought on, but i dont know who for

arsenal need to get the ball to walcot more and let him run at vidic

Rooney has had a nightmare and imo its performances like this that would make a case for starting Tevez in the big games, its clear he steps it up for them whereas Rooney can be very hit and miss, thankfully he hasnt been booked yet though so he may last the full game

Ronaldo has played well enogh in open play, dead balls have been poor though

can anyone tell me why Anderson was the one to take the lay off from the indirect free in the box early on? i mean would you not go with a guy who maybe has scored a goal for the club?

other then that he has been probably our best midfield player, carrick still looks rusty

Rio is asleep most of the time and has been very poor lately, this game is a follow up, VDS is playing poor, but sure whats new

Neville is annoying me but id rather have him in there with the options we have at right back, at least he has leadership and experience

overall, i have high blood pressure after that half and a broken mobile phone

the game has been pretty even and we need to dominate the midfield more and get the ball into strikers feet, Rooney either has to start playing or come off, he is not infallable and when not up to it should be replaced.

Berbatov has looked good whenever he has the ball, need to get him involved more though
