Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The last few days I have noticed this really strange problem whereby some popular websites google, facebook and youtube will not open in by browser if I leave my computer sitting for a period of time. Its not all websites for example I am on boards.ie right now.

I have to restart my machine and they come up no problem, I have tried 4 different browsers when it happens and they all say "cannot display this webpage". Problem isnt my network as my laptop does not have the same problems, have done a virus/spyware check and it all looks ok.

Might try some of the steps tomorrow but they all seem fairly basic. Problem as I said is its not a basic connectivity issue as I can access 80-90% of sites. I suspect it to be a bit more then what this offers but I will give it a go anyway Cheers

Have you installed any new software recently? especially something requiring the use of shell extensions?

What OS are we talking about here?
