Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Recently a lot of the talk shows I am listening to seem to feature Una Claffey,ex RTE heavyweight,and ex advisor to An Taoiseach .

    Is she retired or what, are these people paid to take part in these things.??

    Just wondering,not criticising , but would be a tad concerned about vested interests and bias.

    In fact she is batting big for Bertram on Drivetime right now

    Right now.

    I'd say her re emergence onto such shows is more to do with the change in Taoiseach than anything else. Having been an advisor to Bertie she could not really have been seen as a neutral commentator as long as he was in office.

    Claffey and a couple of FF cllrs were appointed -on merit,obviously -to some quango last month by Ahern (the one who didn't regard Burke as corrupt)

    She was on Drivetime again today 28Nov.

    They look after their staffers out in The Cattery.

    Be a bit concerned about balance though if she appears again next week.
