Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I saw that. Incredible ball. Great finish from Cisse as well.

Are there any streams available for any of these matches?
Or what channels are they on?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,600 ✭✭✭roryc

    From BBC

Andy Reid plays the pass of the day, a searching, stunning 60-yard effort into the path of Djibril Cisse, who expertly holds off the challenge of Sol Campbell and fires under David James from just inside the area. What a start.

    Hope Trappatoni reads BBC...

Everton v West Ham game on Setanta... hilarious. Saha just won the game single handed in the last 4 minutes, scoring two and setting up one

    Pompey win 2-1.

    Everton winning 3-1.

    Green's muck:rolleyes:

Hulls bubble has burst, albeit thanks to an apparantly stunning performance by the Bolton stopper

I was being a bit tongue in cheek, Hull have really surprised me and are already safe.

Jaaskelainen made some truly amazing saves yesterday to win the game for Bolton, particularly the two follow-up saves he made, very brave with Hull players ready to pounce.

That was his 400th appearance for Bolton, I'm amazed none of the bigger sides ever came in for him.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

I always think that when I see him, he must be a better bet than the first choices at several clubs esp Arsenal.

Four games this afternoon and I'm tempted to go with 3 away wins and Villa to be too strong for boro. Will be interesting to see if Spurs and Newcastle can continue their recent mini-revivals under new managers.

By who? Huddlestone is the only big man in the mf afaics and refs punish him hard.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,909 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

Size doesn't matter. The fact is SWP is not a central midfielder and Fernandes is fucking shite.

Think this could be a great game. Had a little bet of at least 7 goals scored at 25/1.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,148 ✭✭✭✭Raskolnikov

It's funny watching little Gelson Fernandes playing as the defensive midfielder.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,148 ✭✭✭✭Raskolnikov

Robinho 1-0, creates and dispatches a great goal.

size isn't everything, Makalele, Diara, Mascherano, none of them are big guys. Unfortunately Fernandes has none of their talent...

6 goals in 6 games for Robbie. Worth every penny.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,148 ✭✭✭✭Raskolnikov

I seriously can't get over the change in Stephen Ireland. He actually looks like a complete central midfielder.

so true. Would be great to have him and Stephen Reid in the middle :(

Great run from Ireland and a decent effort. Unlucky not to score.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,909 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

He's one of, if not the, most in-form midfielder in the league at the moment.

    And there goes Gelson. Idiot

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,148 ✭✭✭✭Raskolnikov

    Fernandes off!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,100 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

    Fernandes off.

I really think the rules need to be looked at and it should be much harder to get sent off. I mean, for me, someone should only be sent off for serious foul play/dangerous play. Now its not at all a surprise to have a red in each game. IMO a sending off should be a last resort.

    1-1 Bent.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

Bent. If this game doesn't end 2-3 ish I'll be suprised.
