For all of you who have yet to play Little Big Planet, do it.
I played for 30 mins and I'm addicted.
More to the point, listen to this song, then try to get it out of your head:

It's the song from the Construction levels and it is impossible to get out of your head.

    Good luck.

i hate them both, but battles are infinitely worse

Mirrored is one of the most original albums I've ever heard. And to see them play it live is powerful. Far from "the worst band in the world". Surely that's "The Script".

    Worth a buy?
    Or otherwise......

I can see how this would be good tied to the memory of playing LBP... but on its own it's pretty crap and quite irritating. I'm surprised an ex-member of Chumbawamba isn't in the band.

Here's a great idea, lets all assume that our own taste in music is the correct one!
Then call any music we don't like crap!
It'll be awesome and sure to keep threads on topic!

What's so great about it? I prefer the catchy tune in the first Frida level but I have no idea what they are singing about :P

    It's Cafe Tacuba's Volver a Comenzar.

Great album IMO. Had to get used to it, but it's brilliant in its "unique" way

    I love that track

You must a bunch of ole' fogies.
Don't you know electro 80s synth pop is the new fashion. You probably hate Crystal Castles, Neon Neon & MGMT too!

Back on topic, LBP is awesome.

thread isnt about lbp, thread is about the music in lbp. stop going off topic

also, battles are not electro, retro, synth pop or anything resembling any of those things

Aye a couple of mates used to listen to this. Its a bit like marmite, only i wouldnt even try marmite.

    Are they singing about pizza?

  • Registered Users Posts: 615 ✭✭✭NunianVonFuch

Pretty good song. Used to put the album on while playing PES '08 to drive the mates mad. They'd get caught up now and then on the words they sing or just annoyed. Good experimental stuff, I like it anyway but I've a very broad taste in music.

Any other decent licenced songs from LBP, preferably with youtube video attached? :D

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,848 ✭✭✭Fnz

The song is unique - that's the first time I've listened to it - reckon it could go either way upon repeat listens - marmite so. Sound well suited to LBP... mischievous.

Can't get into Crystal Castles - they use the right sounds but don't seem able to form them into a harmonious/working tune... yet. It's like the way Justice have a great album but can't mix live to save their life. Both are frustrating shortcomings.

People won't be people when they hear this sound.

What does that even mean?:D

    Isn't it obvious?!
    "The singer is a crook."
    "The kitchen is a cook."
    "The sissors is a barber."

It all makes so much sense!!!

It's true. Since listening, I've devolved into a pit.
