Is there any benefits for someone who has lost there job while attending college.

I would not be receiving a grant or any benefits at this moment.

If you are in full time education you are not entitled to job seekers for obvious reasons.

I was going to ask where you on a Back to education scheme but it seems not.
If you're badly stuck, talk to your student union and they may have a hardship fund.

Nah not all just made me wonder if someone in my spot wasnt as comfortable financially what would be there.

I have my college costs taken care off and i got a nice redundancy so its not an issue for me.

Its just on my mind as to people in my spot who may be dependant on a part time job.

I just feel there should be something there as if i had been drawing the dole instead of working before attending college i would be entitled to all sorts of benefits.
