Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Liverpool are atrocious.

Subs: Gulacsi, Riera, Darby, Insua, Benayoun, Carragher.

    Enough to change the game?

Absolutely shocking display by Liverpool but in fairness Spurs deserve it. Wouldn't be surprised if it ended up 4 or 5-0. Would love to see a comeback but its just not going to happen with Liverpool playing as badly as they are ...

Jaysus, dreadful sh.ite altogeter. Degan, Dossena, Plessis look like Vauxhall conference players. Completely overawed by the occasion. Agger would want to lay off the coke and hookers. He looks a shadow of himself. Lucas again looks like a dud. El Zhar looks out of position. Game over I expect

If we do any big comebacks this season, I wouldn't be wasteing it on this competition.

Plessis and Lucas might as well be at my local getting pissed.

Indeed, let this one pass and get back to the proper footie. I still think Torres needs a
good hour though. Or a bad one even.

Dossena has a long way to go before he can be compared to a hero like Djimi.

They'll make a hero out of Pav yet!
Dont see any merit in keeping Sami on anymore.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,692 ✭✭✭✭OPENROAD

    How poor are Liverpool.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 536 ✭✭✭swalsh

This could get really bad for Liverpool. Insua on for Torres

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,924 ✭✭✭shoutman

Extremely poor, that said it isnt their full strength side.

Broke. Two Yanks sold us a yarn about how we'd be the richest and bestest club ever. Look how that turned out. Thank you Rick Parry.

I can almost guarantee this will go to penalties.

EDIT: Jazzy i dont think any have been aggers fault, more hyypia, dossena, degen and cavilieri. Agger has been the only half decent performer at the back.

Sorry Ross, I strongly disagree. He was ball watching for the first goal and failed to pick up Campbell in the center (eventhough Hyppia should not have allowed in the cross). And he made a basic error for the third in misjudging the flight of the ball and jumping to head fresh air (eventhough Dossena could have done a better job behind him).

Again on the fourth goal, he was ball watching inside after Hyppia was dragged to the ball.

He's not the sole problem tonight of course - but he has still been shockingly poor at the basic meat and potatoes stuff nonetheless. Again.

I backed spurs to win tonight but am very surprised at the score, is it fair to say that Liverpool have a very good starting 11 but lack strength.

Hyppia is such a beast at set pieces. Even if we came back it wouldn't detract from how ****ing piss poor we have been. Glad we are getting this silliness out of the way in a low priority game though all the same.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,692 ✭✭✭✭OPENROAD

Just as Liverpool score the draw was 20/1 Liverpool win was 70/1 in betting in running

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,731 ✭✭✭el rabitos

should leave plessis and dossena behind in london, let them walk home

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,247 ✭✭✭✭Guy:Incognito

We have 25 mins longer to come back from 4-2 down than Spurs had against Arsenal.:)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,924 ✭✭✭shoutman

Gomez has been brutal every time i've seen him this year.

They really need a new keeper.
