NTL 20mb line? Read this...

Can anyone on NTL's 20mb line please login to their modem (192.168.100.1), go to the 'signal' page and tell me what the 'Bit Rate' says under the 'Downstream Channel' section. Would even be worth checking regardless what package your on actually. Mine says 42884296 bits/sec which is about 5.3mb/sec... far from the 20mb/sec…

Try it with just the password and leave the username blank, that works for me.

I have 20mb connection and my speed has been pretty poor... plus, it is also unstable - it seems to go through periods of being quite quick and then so slow that webpages won't load.
