    right scotland for now are 9 in the world and ireland are 8 fair thanks to our bad form but if new zealand play a strong or their strongest team against ireland. and if they play a weak team against scotland does this mean that we are lossing one of the 8 founding memebers of rugby and does this mean that there are only 8 team can beat new zealand.

    this show the divide in world rugby 3 levels
    level 1-south africa, austraila, new zealand,france, england, wales,ireland, arginanine
    level 2- scotland italty figi
    level3-the rest

    I would say there are only one teams who would be confident of beating the All Blacks, SA. England and Aus wouldn't fear them but are not equipped to beat them currently and bar the World Cup they have the mental edge over the French as well.

    I would have a tier one of just NZ and SA at the moment all the other nations are at a fairly similar level at the moment.

    I thought Scotland put in a reasonable days work at the weekend, dominated posession and territory but gave away a few very soft tries and didn't take their chances when they cane either. Italy also gave Aus one hell of a close run and were unlucky not to win, so they are not as far off the rest of us as you may think.
