Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Just wondering if anyone can help me out? What does prsi cover ?? i've been on revenue website and it's so confusing... I recently had dental work done, fillings and root canal and such and will need more work in the future.. just wondering if PRSI covers it? how do you claim it if it does? and what about GP visits and such... thanks a mill!

    not GP visits.
Though you can claim a portion of the tax back.

In fairness, all the information is easy to find.
Just go to www.welfare.ie and search for dental

Your dentist should have been able to check what you were entitled to before you had any work done. Welfare pay the dentists directly, but only a portion of fillings and a very small amount for root canal. Checkups and cleaning is covered for free, as long as you have the required PRSI payments made.

If they took your PPS number, and still charged you the full amount, it could be because you're not entitled to anything. It could also be that they did claim the PRSI amount, but you'd still have more to pay regardless.
