Hi, I was just wondering why a fillet of steak is far more expensive compared to sirloin steak or any other cut of steak when they both have the same nutritional benifits. a fillet is the best part of the animal, its just lean meat unlike a sirloin where there would be strips of fat throughout!

Simple supply & demand. Most consider it the best so pay more, it is more tender than sirloin.
