depends what you're looking for but essentially all our bars/late bars/clubs are kept in one area - basically you're looking at late bars like The Kazbar, Revolution, Harveys.
normal pubs like Geoff's, and downses are your best bet but will be busy.

give more info and you'll get more answers :D

as mentioned above, it all depends on what kinda nightlife your after..

Geoffs, Elec Ave, wacky apple is mainly an alternative crowd...often live music or DJs...

rubys, revolution, masons, oxygen is your run of the mill disco bar type crowd...
    as is Rubys....

Some nice pubs around that off the beating track but really need more info for what your looking for

thanks lads, staying in days and going with the gf, we like to head out, late bars, maybe some dancing but not into serious clubbing either. Just to see some of the action and have a relaxed laugh. Cheers lads
P.S. Dinner part of hotel deal so not a problem on the eating front

Days Inn (Bridge Hotel) is a good 20minute walk from the 'Strip' or John St to give it the correct title.

Also, Oconnell st and some parts of the quay can be farily dodgy at night, so would be farily vigilant if walking back..
Not in the best of area's that hotel.

I agree but I wouldnt pack heat to protect yourself on the way back but do just keep an eye out stay on the Quay and you'll be fine.

I'd recommend Harvey's for a latebar where you can get your relitive freak on but not a club either, Rule of thumb any pub thats busy on the way down should be pretty good. Geoff's is always a good laugh.

at the far end id recommend the 3shippes big lovely bar, great place to have a chat and a laugh, no blaring music, just a good bar to have a great chat in.
