Shocking!! what is that in this country?? rape and abuse and child porn are really softly punnished but importers from cannabis go to jail voor 15 years??? unreal. I always thought that rape and child porn were the biggest crimes you could commit!! how do they justify this?

Typical. I'm not suprised tbh. Its feckin typical of this country. Real crimes don't bother getting punished, but lets go and consume the courts time and the Garda Siochana's time with little stupid crimes that don;t mean anything

    Priorities priorities eh?

Did he actually hurt any children? Did he take any of these pics?

That's hardly an argument for leniency, consuming these images provides a market for them, so someone abuses kids to make them. So either way he's responsible.

I think it depends on how 'bad' the images are. The story refers to him having 25 "child-in-bondage" pics, but 14,000 odd "girls undressing". Had that been the other way round, he's have gotten more. It also depends on whether or not he was creating/selling/passing them on to a third party.

That said, the maximum sentence is only five years...???

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

There is no excuse for people having images like these!!! It seems a slap on the wrist and their computer taken off them is the height of the "justice" given out these days!

I am sure somebody will have "a word with him". That is not the kind of person we want to have on our streets. What I can't understand is what sick fcuk would put a video of a girl aged 4 up online in the first place? Apalling.

Hopefully someone in Prison will meet up with him and dole out some rough justice

The man has no remorse either, he was strolling around the village with his head held high, it sickens me.
