Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Ok so I'm posting this thread for people to list about deals they hear on games in shops around the country coming up to Christmas time. Deals on the newest releases would be especially handy.

    I picked up Call of Duty: World At War for €45 in Smyths today, pretty good price for the release day. This offer is just for this weekend.

    pes2009 is 35 in pc world...thanks for letting me know its 45 for cod..ill pick that up for xmas.oh yea does anyone know anywhere to rent mirrors edge..its the last of the big titles i want to rent but the extravision in bishopstown doesnt rent it.

    For anyone still looking for Gears of War 2 Special Edition, you can still pick it up in certain Tescos around Dublin for e59.95

    I bought it there on Sunday, delighted to get it. Goes nicely with my shiny GOW1 SE!

    If you can still get it there. Not sure about other Xtra Visions but my local has been sold out for a week

    I got this in Tesco for 48 euro on release day. am convinced it was a mistake because I was in there a few days later and it was 55.

    Then went in last weekend and the regular one was 60. Any idea for the increases other than greed?
