Graphics Card?

What do people think of this card?

    http://tw.giga-byte.com/Products/VGA/Products_Spec.aspx?ClassValue=VGA&ProductID=2604&ProductName=GV-NX86T512H

What games could it run, not a big Gamer but just need to know what it would be capable of. Or is this a pig in a poke?

Edit: Will be wanting to run this at 1680 x 1050 btw

This is the last item I need to complete a Quad Core rig whose components have all been bought on adverts bar the HDDs.

    Weak card.

For gaming at 1650 x 1050 I would consider at least a radeon 4850 as it gives you a good bit of breathing space at that resolution.
    (around €150 for one)

If you are on a tight budget: radeon 4670, 4830, or Nvidia 9600GSO/GT or a cheap 9800GT

Anybody any more ideas? I'm looking to keep the spend under €100 but if the advise is that going that cheap would limit me dramatically then I could wait a bit to increase the budget.

9800 GT for €109 and you can collect from Peats (assuming they have it in stock)

That lad trying to sell them on adverts is having a laugh, 50 euro for a 512mb DDR2 card when a faster 256mb DDR3 card is 45 brand new.

109 for a 9800GT is great value and the one I'd choose, the best you're going to get on that budget and excellent for most modern games at high settings @ 1680x1050 bar the usual suspects like Crysis/Crysis WarHead.

One more question, would the 9800GT be a turbine or is it quiet?

Would this be the same type/class as the one the Pirates of Parnell Street have on sale?

The only difference between the 9800GT in peats and on komplett is the company that makes it...
Peats is Cheaper and if you are in Dublin you can walk in and buy the card there and then and save €10 and waiting a few days getting the card from komplett.
(Peats are NOT always a total rip off, they do have some good prices some times, but they reduce prices very slowly)

Both are the same chip, the only differences will be warranty and what comes free in the box.

Regarding the noise: you won't know until you plug it in! Depends on the qauilty of your case, the airflow you have in the case and the actual quality of the fan on the card. Prob not though...
