Looking for advice on how to search through Irish legislation

Im in college and doing a number of projects at the moment. Without going into too much detail, some of the projects have legal issues attached that id like to include. But Im having difficulty trying to find Irish legislation on certain matters.

Ive had a brief look through a few websites and http://www.irishstatutebook.ie seems to have the best amount of info. But its quite difficult to navigate since its hard to know what law comes under what and there is a lot of information there

So im just wondering if there is a better place to look?
Any advice on how to search through the legislation?
Also, is courts.ie the only place to find court cases and their judgements?

    Thanks

Edit: sorry if this is the wrong place to post, please move it if you see fit

Irishstatutebook is probably the best place to get legislation. The search facility is poor so you're probably better off using a site specific google search (type "site:www.irishstatutebook.ie" before the search term).

www.bailii.org will also have some case law. Professionals would use a lot of subscription only services and I presume you're not inclined to sign up to them.

Your college probably has a subscription to www.justis.com which is a good place for getting reported judgments. Some of the other databases only put up judgments which have been edited.

The link below is probably the most important page on http://www.irishstatutebook.ie, If you have a piece of legislation, click on the relevant year and you can see what changes have been made.
